I find no distinction between the various arts, the way a painter paints, the way an artisan cooks a splendid meal, the ringing of a blacksmith's hammer pounding out heated iron, the rythmic sway of a sword polisher honing a blade to divine effectiveness, the creative whorls and arches of the written word, the last touch of make up before a cosplayer assumes their costume.....life is art, in all it's infinate variety, and is a precious thing indeed. ..... I have served in both the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Army, in peacetime and in war, at that time it was my art. I've been a bartender at various times in my life, and yes, slinging drinks is an art. I find myself on a new stage in life, I'm just a gardner finding the beauty in the gurgling water flowing into my koi pond, the russle of bamboo leaves swaying in a breeze, and the infinate colour in the leaves of Japanese maples.....
